Western Roundup Living Sober Of San Francisco has had the pleasure of putting on 50+ yearly conferences to support the LGBTQIA2S+ Communities in Alcoholics Anonymous with Al-Anon participation. The first of its kind conference in 1976, we are proud to have led the way inspiring similar conferences in cities around the world.
We have always strived to keep the costs associated with the conference as low as possible and provide a registration fee that is both affordable and covers the costs of the event. We do not turn anyone away to any of our events for lack of funds. When there is a shortfall from an event or conference, we cover the extra cost through our prudent reserve.
Over many years, we have used a little of our reserve to cover the shortfall of the annual conference. We are now at a point where we need our community’s help – in the spirit of AA’s 7th Tradition – in replenishing our prudent reserve to ensure the legacy of WRLS continues for 50 more years and beyond!
Any amount is sincerely appreciated, but we are asking those who can afford it to consider a monthly donation of $19.76 – in commemoration of our founding year.
As a treasured member of our WRLS Family, we thank you for your continued support.

Be of Service at the Conference
Living Sober has never been produced by “someone else.” It’s always been us. Every registration, every meeting room, every raffle ticket, every warm welcome happens because another alcoholic raised their hand and said, “I can help.”
Whether you’ve got 1 hour or a few shifts to spare, service is one of the best ways to meet people, stay connected, and give back to the conference that gives so much to our community. As we like to say, you can’t fall off the floor when you’re setting up the chairs.
Choose what fits:
Conference Volunteers
Help with registration, setup, operations, teardown, and keeping the weekend running smoothly.
Fundraising Volunteers
Help staff the raffle booth and support one of the conference’s biggest fundraising efforts.
Sign up for one shift or several. Every act of service helps make Living Sober possible, and chances are you’ll get as much out of it as you put in.
